The Climbing Center is the spot for indoor climbing in Knoxville, Tennessee. We offer a variety of climbing options to suit all abilities and ages. We are a full gym complete with bouldering, top ropes, and lead climbing as well as training equipment.

The Climbing Center is a great place to hold a special event like a birthday party, group outing, scouting event or team building activity. We can rent the gym out to your group for a private event. Ladies Night
The First Monday of the month is Ladies Night! Come enjoy a fun night at the gym! $12 for pass, and $15 for a pass with gear rental! 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Thursday Bargain Bouldering
Every Thursday after 5pm, boulder passes are $11.
Friday Night Special After 6pm
Every Friday night, climbing passes are $12.99 after 6pm if you have your own gear, and $19.99 for package deal if you need shoes and harness.

Private Instruction/Lead Climbing Classes
We offer private instruction to work on any aspect of climbing you like. We can work on technique, belaying, lead climbing or just about anything else you can think of. $100/2hours
Top Rope Belay Class
Come by or call to set an appointment for a belay class. $50

History of The Climbing Center
The Climbing Center was formed in 1997, the first in the area and one of the few in the south at that time. Shortly thereafter, the High School Climbing League was formed, the first in the nation! At the time, climbing was not a “letter sport” so it operated as a club with support from a sponsor. Climbing programs in our area have really grown! Today 15 – 20 high schools are involved with over 250 participants! Many of these young climbers have gone on to become excellent climbers competing successfully in regional and national climbing competitions.
